Our Terms & Conditions

Please read the T&C's below prior to boarding. These MUST be agreed upon arrival on the booking form.

Vaccinations

All cats staying at Bright Eyes Cattery MUST be fully vaccinated. Once a cat receives their two initial vaccinations, they should then be vaccinated each year with their booster vaccine. Prior to boarding, an up to date vaccination record must be presented.

All cats need to be vaccinated against feline panleukopenia virus, calicivirus (FCV) and feline herpes virus type 1 (FHV1) (Novibac Tricat vaccine).  It is also recommended that all outdoor cats be vaccinated against feline leukaemia virus FeLV. This includes outdoors cats as we allow access to an outdoor enclosed area.

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted. All cats will be examined on arrival. As the owners of Bright Eyes Cattery, we reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing any signs of ill health, pending the advice from a Veterinary Surgeon.

Collection times

Opening Hours are from 9am to 11am & 4pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 3pm to 5pm Saturday & Sunday. If your cat cannot be collected within these hours, your cat must be boarded an additional night and collected the following morning. This will be an additional cost to the owners. Please ensure that you have read ALL the information on the Prices page.

Vet Care

If your cat needs veterinary care while they are staying with us, we will contact you immediately. Even if we are unable to reach you, we will seek the relevant treatment immediately at our local vet, O'Shea, Bramley & Breen (Wexford Town). We will make any decisions that we consider necessary for the welfare of your cat. Veterinary and transport expenses incurred must be covered by the owners.

Any medication that your cat requires must be recorded on the booking form upon arrival.

Fleas & Worms

To keep the cattery free from fleas and ticks, we ask that your cat is treated with flea and worm preventative medicine within 2 weeks of their stay. This will protect the other cats that we have staying with us.

Should your cat need to be treated for fleas or worms then this will be carried out and additional costs will be payable upon collection of your cat.

Cancellations that are made on or within 14 days prior to arrival will be charged at 25% of the total outstanding amount.
Cancellations that are made on or within 7 days prior to arrival will be charged at 50% of the total outstanding amount.
